Ontario GTX rated Number 1

Ontario GTX came top in the Country Living Magazine, Gear of The Year Awards 2024.  This is their review for the winner :

“Each year, German brand Meindl impress us with their traditional, hardy, classy mountain boots.  This year they’ve impressed us with something from the other end of the scale.  They rate the Ontario GTX as an A-Class shoe (for easy trails), but we think it’s capable of so much more.  The Gore-Tex lining works a treat, the excitingly-named Meindl Magic Active sole has enough traction to handle most of the terrain we cover, and the laces tighten round the heel so your feet feel perfectly cradled.  And, as with so many Meindl products, we’ve found them to be almost indestructible.  For shoes that perform, and keep performing, these are top notch.”
