Product Description
Meindl Airstream forestry boots combine 300 years of boot-making expertise with design features that suit the needs and regulations for forestry and chainsaw work. Airstreams are EN ISO 20345:2004 SB WRU certified and an Arb and Forestry industry bestseller. When you're wearing your boots day in, day out, comfort is a priority, which is where Meindl's Air Revolution and Memory Foam Systems pay off. The Air Revolution technology offers excellent breathability for an ideal foot climate, whilst the Memory Foam System molds to the shape of the foot for superior comfort every wear. Meindl has developed heavy-duty, high grip sole units to enhance performance and make moving around so much easier - both on the ground and in the canopy. There's a protective toe cap for added safety and a GORE-TEX lining for waterproofing and breathability. Airstreams also feature the Digafix lacing system, which pulls the heel to the back of the boot for a secure fit. Improved comfort is ensured via the fully adjustable lacing.
Meindl Fitting Advice
Meindl is generally a wide-fitting brand, with our Comfort Fit range offering even more space for those who need it.
However, achieving the right fit is not just about length. The shape, width and overall volume of the boot must match your foot. The widest part of your foot should align with the widest part of the boot. If you feel the boot tapers too quickly at the front, you may benefit from a style with a rounder, more generous toe box.
A well-fitting boot should feel secure around the heel and midfoot, with enough room at the front for your toes to move freely without touching the end—particularly when walking downhill.
It’s also important to avoid excess volume in the upper. Too much space can lead to movement within the boot, causing creasing, reduced support, and discomfort over time.
For best results, try boots on with your usual walking socks and ensure they feel comfortable both standing and moving, as fit can change during use.

Care Advice
Conditioning and proofing spray keeps nubuck leather and suede protected. The boots can be treated when the uppers aren’t quite dry – it ensures they’ll remain supple. Applying a little wax to the hooks and eyelets will protect them from corrosion.
