Product Description
The Jamaica GTX is an excellent all round outdoor shoe. It features a combination of velour and mesh uppers making it a lighter weight option for everyday wear or lower level walking. They have been developed with a GORE-TEX lining for breathability and waterproofing and an excellent Meindl Multigrip sole with a deep profile giving excellent grip on mixed terrain. Being a renowned brand with over 300 years of experience in crafting high quality walking boots, Meindl has created the Jamaica GTX to be a reliable walking shoe with a secure fit. The Jamaica GTX will provide comfort and security on outdoor adventures.

Meindl Fitting Advice
Meindl is generally a wide-fitting brand, with our Comfort Fit range offering even more space for those who need it.
However, achieving the right fit is not just about length. The shape, width and overall volume of the boot must match your foot. The widest part of your foot should align with the widest part of the boot. If you feel the boot tapers too quickly at the front, you may benefit from a style with a rounder, more generous toe box.
A well-fitting boot should feel secure around the heel and midfoot, with enough room at the front for your toes to move freely without touching the end—particularly when walking downhill.
It’s also important to avoid excess volume in the upper. Too much space can lead to movement within the boot, causing creasing, reduced support, and discomfort over time.
For best results, try boots on with your usual walking socks and ensure they feel comfortable both standing and moving, as fit can change during use.

Care Advice
Conditioning and proofing spray keeps nubuck leather and suede protected. The boots can be treated when the uppers aren’t quite dry – it ensures they’ll remain supple. Applying a little wax to the hooks and eyelets will protect them from corrosion.
