Product Description
A classic 2- to 3-season, wide-fitting walking boot for tracks and trails. Trento GTX is made on the Meindl Comfort Fit last, which makes it wider in the fore foot and provides additional space while maintaining a good heel grip. The soft flexible cuff makes the boot very comfortable and the Comfort Fit Hiker sole gives excellent grip and under foot protection.

Meindl is generally a wide-fitting brand, with our Comfort Fit range offering even more space for those who need it.
However, achieving the right fit is not just about length. The shape, width and overall volume of the boot must match your foot. The widest part of your foot should align with the widest part of the boot. If you feel the boot tapers too quickly at the front, you may benefit from a style with a rounder, more generous toe box.
A well-fitting boot should feel secure around the heel and midfoot, with enough room at the front for your toes to move freely without touching the end—particularly when walking downhill.
It’s also important to avoid excess volume in the upper. Too much space can lead to movement within the boot, causing creasing, reduced support, and discomfort over time.
For best results, try boots on with your usual walking socks and ensure they feel comfortable both standing and moving, as fit can change during use.

Care Advice
Conditioning and proofing spray keeps nubuck leather and suede protected. The boots can be treated when the uppers aren’t quite dry – it ensures they’ll remain supple. Applying a little wax to the hooks and eyelets will protect them from corrosion.
