Product Description
The Meindl Siena GTX mens wide fitting walking shoes are part of the Comfort-Fit range, developed to offer a more relaxed, easier fit for those with wider feet.
Constructed in Meindl’s Bavarian factory from waxed Nubuck leather, the Siena GTX are reliable and keep your feet protected from abrasion. Featuring a GORE-TEX membrane, the shoe is extremely breathable and fully waterproof ensuring its suitability for use in all conditions.
The Comfort-fit footbed offers more space around the ball of the foot and the toes, whilst keeping a strong grip at the heel. Made from cork with a fleece covering this footbed is contoured to the foot giving more support than a standard footbed and an extremely comfortable wear, perfect for all day use.
The Meindl Comfort Hiker II sole has also been given the Comfort-Fit touch, designed to offer a smooth natural rolling movement whilst providing exceptional grip on a variety of terrain. Unlike other soles this is enhanced with EVA cushioning in the midsole.
Meindl Fitting Advice
Meindl is generally a wide-fitting brand, with our Comfort Fit range offering even more space for those who need it.
However, achieving the right fit is not just about length. The shape, width and overall volume of the boot must match your foot. The widest part of your foot should align with the widest part of the boot. If you feel the boot tapers too quickly at the front, you may benefit from a style with a rounder, more generous toe box.
A well-fitting boot should feel secure around the heel and midfoot, with enough room at the front for your toes to move freely without touching the end—particularly when walking downhill.
It’s also important to avoid excess volume in the upper. Too much space can lead to movement within the boot, causing creasing, reduced support, and discomfort over time.
For best results, try boots on with your usual walking socks and ensure they feel comfortable both standing and moving, as fit can change during use.

Care Advice
Sportwax is a natural product formulated to condition and proof leather. Apply it with a sponge or cloth and don’t forget the tongues of the boots. Rub the wax in well. There’s no need to heat it, as this could reduce boot breathability. Waxing changes the appearance of the leather, making it smoother and darker. Applying a little to the hooks and eyelets also protects them against corrosion.
