Product Description

The Meindl Gomera GTX mens walking boot is constructed by skilled shoe makers who harness over 300 years of experience in creating high-class walking footwear. The Gomera GTX consists of quality Nubuck leather and suede uppers with an Air-Active footbed to ensure breathability and aid temperature control. Meanwhile GORE-TEX technologies in the lining work to ensure your feet stay dry and comfortable in wet weather conditions. This style is complete with a Multi-grip sole (developed exclusively with Vibram) with lugs designed to allow mud to fall off with each step, guaranteeing a firm grip on a variety of testing terrains. The Gomera GTX enhances walking performance by providing comfort, durability and a secure hold for your foot. Classified as AB by Meindl, this walking boot is ideal for low level trails and tracks.

5 stars: Comfortable from the start
Second pair I’ve had Comfortable from the start, didn’t need breaking in.
Michael (2017)

Meindl’s creation, the light and comfy Gomera GTX boot, was admired by outdoor adventurers. Its precise fit and breathability were also lauded. However, these positive remarks were not appreciated by people who complained about its unconvincing durability. Finally, it may be concluded that the Meindl Gomera GTX is a light-duty boot. Using it on demanding trails might shorten its lifespan.

Care Advice

Conditioning and proofing spray keeps nubuck leather and suede protected. The boots can be treated when the uppers aren’t quite dry – it ensures they’ll remain supple. Applying a little wax to the hooks and eyelets will protect them from corrosion
