Product Description

The Meindl Antelao Pro GTX walking boot is a stiffer crampon-compatible boot in the Miendl Comfort fit range. It offers excellent support with a natural, relaxed fit. The uppers are made from suede and mesh, which create a supportive frame. The addition of a GORE-TEX lining ensures that the boot is waterproof and durable in all weather conditions. A full rubber rand provides excellent protection in harsh environments. The footbed is extra comfortable, made from cork, and has a wider surface area at the front of the boot. This allows for more movement and support as the foot, particularly the toes, can lay straight. With a fleece covering, the footbed guarantees stability and unbeatable comfort. The Antelao Pro GTX boasts a Meindl Multigrip Rock sole with EVA shock absorber, which reduces impact upon each step and gives lots of cushioning. The Antelao Pro GTX is perfect year-round walking for those needing a wider fit.

Care Advice

Sportwax is a natural product formulated to condition and proof leather. Apply it with a sponge or cloth and don’t forget the tongues of the boots. Rub the wax in well. There’s no need to heat it, as this could reduce boot breathability. Waxing changes the appearance of the leather, making it smoother and darker. Applying a little to the hooks and eyelets also protects them against corrosion.
Conditioning and proofing spray keeps nubuck leather and suede protected. The boots can be treated when the uppers aren’t quite dry – it ensures they’ll remain supple. Applying a little wax to the hooks and eyelets will protect them from corrosion
