Product Description

The Meindl Taiga MFS GTX field sports and forestry boot is designed to maximise your hunting performance. Hand-crafted from soft Nubuck leather, the boot is resistant and protective in adverse conditions with a high upper for unbeatable ankle support. Your foot is held securely in place thanks to the Digafix lacing system which enables easy lacing, adjustable for hill-walking. Equipped with a GORE-TEX lining and an Air-Active drysole footbed, the Taiga MFS GTX is extremely breathable, well ventilated and waterproof in wet weather. The Memory Foam System (MFS) provides additional padding and maximum comfort, giving a personalised fit and reducing any unwanted pressure and pinching. The MFS foams work by molding to the shape of the foot using body heat, thus giving optimum support. The Taiga MFS GTX is complete with a Meindl Multigriff sole (developed with Vibram) providing excellent traction across a wide variety of surfaces, from muddy fields to mountain scapes.

Reviews

5 Stars: These last me 4 years HARD use – most comfortable boots ever! This is the 3rd pair I’ve had of these – pair 1 lasted 1011 – 2015, pair 2 2015-present (but wearing out.) I’ve made sure of getting another pair to put on the shelf till needed! Wore them in the Swedish Arctic, Kungsleden, Padjelanteladen trails, the Spanish coast to coast GR11 – hardly had a blister with any of them!

Care Advice

Sportwax is a natural product formulated to condition and proof leather. Apply it with a sponge or cloth and don’t forget the tongues of the boots. Rub the wax in well. There’s no need to heat it, as this could reduce boot breathability. Waxing changes the appearance of the leather, making it smoother and darker. Applying a little to the hooks and eyelets also protects them against corrosion.
