“With tough suede uppers, a Gore-Tex lining, and a full rubber rand, the Antelao Pro offers both protection and durability.
“But softer mesh fabric and plenty of padding around the tongue and ankle cuff gives added flex too.
“When focusing on solid stability, the Antelao Pro offers a broad forefoot and a roomy toe box which allows toes to lie straight and flat while also allowing them to splay, making for an easier walk with additional grip. With the addition of a pronounced rocker, an easier, more natural stride is encouraged.
“Even after plentiful miles, the Antelao Pro keeps feet feeling warm, dry, and comfy.
“There’s decent cushioning underfoot too, thanks to an EVA foam rubber insert in the midsole and a cosy fleece-lined cork footbed.
“The midsole is stiffened and a plastic heel insert means they’re compatible with C2 crampons, ensuring snow and ice isn’t a problem.
“The boot performs pleasantly in all other conditions, with the wide sole putting plenty of rubber in contact with the ground, resulting in the boot only really reaching its limits on steeper scrambles.”
