Reviews
Excellent performance albeit at a reasonably hefty price. Worth it though if your walking is mostly in the high mountains. However, I have also used the Meindl Burma Pro MFS Walking Boots for lower level walks and found them to be equally at home in this terrain.

5 stars: I simply didn’t give them enough love resulting in the uppers eventually cracking and failing
I am 4 years into my second pair of Meindl Burma boots. 12 years of more or less weekly use. My excuse as to why they are my second pair is due to my neglectfull maintanence. I simply didn’t give them enough love resulting in the uppers eventually cracking and failing. I wash and dry after each use and apply Dubbin. I would definately recommend these to any hill walking enthusiast.

Care Advice
Sportwax is a natural product formulated to condition and proof leather. Apply it with a sponge or cloth and don’t forget the tongues of the boots. Rub the wax in well. There’s no need to heat it, as this could reduce boot breathability. Waxing changes the appearance of the leather, making it smoother and darker. Applying a little to the hooks and eyelets also protects them against corrosion.
